 Clique Hierarchy

To decide your clique, pick a side of the social spectrum – either Prep/Jocks(Red) or Punk/Nerd(Blue) and the sub categories. Once you have decided that, write your character falling under the general characteristics and stereotypes of the clique. Don't stray too far from the general idea of the clique.

If you feel that your character falls under a second clique, pick one of the characters from the In-Betweens. This is optional.

The higher up your are on a certain color, the higher the status in the social hierarchy. Goth is considered bigger and better than the Emos. Popular over the preps. Etc. etc.

Crossed out cliques means that it is a ‘one-four person’ class and it is taken. If the clique is open, feel free to apply. If you want to apply for the restricted clique, be sure that you are active, and ready to take on a big responsibility. If you go inactive in a restricted clique, you will be replaced, or the position will be opened for someone else.

Clique Hierarchy

Prep/Jock

Queen Bee: The girl who rules them all, the girl who projects an image of perfection, she is the queen bee. She holds a tight fist over her royal court, controlling everything they do. She is the mistress of evil and sex-appeal, using a facade to trick others into doing her bidding. Perhaps people obey her out of fear, or out of blind loyalty. Either way, she holds the ultimate power in her gasp. <<Status Achievable only through RP or by ADMIN approval>> Laura Summers

Red King: The Queen Bee's male match in every way. He is handsome, popular, and has a special quality about him that sets him apart from the other males. He can be from any social group as long as he is popular by the "Red" standards. Like the Queen Bee, he can rule the school without a partner in crime. <<Status Achievable only through RP or by ADMIN approval>> Elias Sven

Royal Court: These are the Queen-bee's little workers. They are her entourage, her information source. They both love and hate her, and they always have a plot to take over, but they are too afraid to put it into action. They tend to dress alike and seem to color-coordinate before they leave the house.

Knights: The Red King's closest friends, they are always there to congratulate him and give their advice, no matter how pointless it normally is. Though most frequently jocks, they can be from any high-class clique. They love to pull pranks and initiate new members into their circle. Humiliation seems to be a specialty of theirs.

Populars: These are the people in school that have their own source of popularity. It's based upon their looks, their money and the people they know. They are not directly under the ruling of the King or Queen, but do offer their support when the help is needed.

Preps: Female version of the jocks. They do well academically, usually on first name basis with their teachers, and are involved in at least one sport. They are goody-two-shoes and can be snobby and use a personalized planner to correctly schedule their spa appointments, homework, and sleepovers.

Jocks: No matter what anyone else says, sports are their life. They will play almost any sport available, except for the extreme stuff like skateboarding. They get "dibs" on the hot girls, and they manage to keep their grades at average, or else they would be kicked off the team. The jocks are usually the only school-spirit the school has.

Broadway: They are the drama-nerds, kiss-ups, tattle-tells with the better-than-you attitude of arrogance about them. The aspiring Broadway actors ignore the cliques around them. They are always melodramatic about everything, as their name might suggest. They are over-the-top, most aspiring to become huge acting stars and starlits.

Gangsta: Half of the time, you don't understand what they are saying, but you know that whenever you pass them in the halls, you are afraid. These are the people most likely to miss school for days due to a bloody fight. They always back up their threats with a promise. They are easily recognized by overly-baggy shirts and pants starting at their knees.

Divas: Queens of gossip and bubble gum: glitz and glam are the only words known to these girls. Glitter lip-gloss, hoop earrings, and the phrase "Hay gurl!" are common amongst their conversation. They are the female version of the gangsters, always getting into cat-fights. The only concern of theirs is whether or not they will break a nail.

Omnipresent: Those people who never seem to belong to just "one clique." This is them. They hate identifying themselves with others, but their friends tend to be from the same cliques. You either love them or you hate them, or you love to hate them. They try not to make enemies with any clique, but others get annoyed with their "fence-sitting." [Secondary Cliques Restricted]

In-Betweens (Optional Secondary Clique)

Scene Kids: Over-the-top attire, always out to try something new, and a member of a band sums up the scene-kids. They thrive together, sharing the same music tastes and fashion sense. Most of their clothing is inspired from the punks, but they give it the holly-wood glamour twist. With their musical talent, they tend to form bands with their friends, and take everything they do a little too seriously.

Bullies: Although sometimes able to blend in with other cliques, the queen bee being a form of a bully herself, these bullies tend to stand out and make themselves known. Perhaps because of a rough childhood, psychiatric problems, or for the sake of hurting others, they have no empathy and use their ability to create fear to their advantage.

Foreigners: It doesn't matter what they may act like, they are from another country, and they have been labeled as a foreigner. They generally speak with an accent, and with people of the same ethnicity, they speak their native language. Sometimes, you can't help but wonder what they are talking about.

Ghetto: As the clique says, these are the kids from the ghetto, the slums, the lowest income families. They don't pay attention in class, they ignore the rules, and they don't mind telling you to shut up, even to authorities. Torn jeans and the cheap grunge look, they as scary as they look, knowing how to fight in order to survive.

Loners: The loners are the kids you see sitting by themselves at lunch, at the back of the class, and never speaking a word. In some cases, they are just too shy, but most of the time, they prefer to be left alone. They don't have any close friends, and they don't speak much. People tend to leave them alone, and they prefer it that way.

Druggies: The druggies are the ones to always skip class. The teachers have given up on asking where they are. They don't mind using any means to get money for their drugs. No amount of loyalty resides in their clique, knowing that each would betray his or her sibling just to get another joint.

Outcasts: Some are ex-loners, others are on their way to becoming burn-outs. For whatever the reason, they bond together and ignore the world around them. They read comic-books and frequent the computer for the most part. They tend to succeed in scaring the populars away to avoid the catty comments.

Nerds: Straight A's is not uncommon for this social clique, yet it never seems to be good enough. They are "grade-grubbers," begging for every last point to improve their GPA. Their idea of fun is solving quadratic equations, testing the Pythagorean Theorem, and writing drafts of their college applications. There is also a sub-group to nerds, the true ones who sit behind computer screens and television screens: the gamers.

Homosexuals: You don't have to be homosexual to be a part of this clique. If you are a masculine girl, or an overly effeminate boy and you don't fit into another clique, you belong here. However, most of the people in this clique are self-professed, out of the closet homosexuals.

Punk/Nerd

Black Widow: The Queen Bee's sworn enemy from the day they meet, the Black Widow is the ruler of the Blue side. She is the true bad girl who's not afraid to take chances on dangerous pranks. Her personality may vary, but it's important that she be persuasive and charming to her army of students. <<Status Achievable only through RP or by ADMIN approval>> Mercedes Jennings

Reaper King: Not necessarily the Black Widow's boyfriend, the Reaper King is the male leader. Hermatches her passion with a cool, collective demeanor. Like the Widow, his personality can vary, but his mission remains the same: torment his enemies until they break. <<Status Achievable only through RP or by ADMIN approval>> Orias Mace

Gothic: These are the high-class of the vintage kids. Only a few have real problems, but they dress in all black and metal, looking like they are dead from lack of sunlight. They tend to be the ones who can actually afford the clothing in Hot Topic, and enjoy calling the emos "posers." They listen to depressing lyrics in music, using them to relate back to their own lives in some shape or form.

Punk: Turn-tables, mascara abuse, and bright, mismatched patterns are all ways to describe the punks. They have the most outrageous hair-dos and colors, and they aren't afraid to pierce any part of their body. They sport brand new tattoos and fishnet stockings. They have a general "fuck you" attitude about life, and it can be best to stay out of their way. They love hard-rock and anything they can headbang to.

Skaters: The ones sleeping in the back of your class, failing and don't care? That's them. They wear hoodies and torn jeans, and carry around a skateboard or a pair of skates. They love extreme sports, and they tend to get voted "most likely to die before 30."

Emo: The emos are the ones you see complaining about everything, when in reality, they have nothing to be sad about. They always feel like everyone is against them, but they do nothing to improve their status. They frequent the mall in packs, especially stores like hot-topic. They also loathe the queen-bee and her court, some having been part of those cliques themselves.

Ravers: These are the classmates who can be seen chewing on gum, getting in trouble for being late to class, and listening to their MP3 players while the teacher is instructing. They love glow sticks and bright-lights, frequenting nightclubs in order to dance and get tipsy. The love alcohol and drugs, using anything to get them away from reality. Their bright, neon clothing can blind a person if they aren't prepared.

Hippies: Tree-huggers, environmentalists, and peace-lovers, you will never catch a hippie in the middle of a fight. With their flower-patterns and bright pastels, people sometimes wonder if they didn't get the 'change of the century' memo. They sometimes appear to be high, and they probably are.

Burn-Outs: Like everyone else, they used to care about 'fitting-in,' but for unknown reasons, they have gone down-hill. They are the inspiration of 'grunge.' The burn-outs can disappear for days at a time, usually for rehab, and no one cares. Some struggle with eating disorders, others have been seen muttering to themselves. They are the main victims of the queen-bee and her ruthless teasing.

Art Enthusiasts: While everyone else is talking about the latest gossip, the art enthusiasts are using their "unique" view to express their opinion on everything. They love to paint, draw, and sculpt. Whenever you are assigned a project that needs a creative point of view, this is the clique to go to for help. They are generally very easy to get along with, not very judgmental.
